The Knot Filler Cooling Iron is the large aluminium press for Knot Filler repairs. Its 7.09 x 3.15 in (180 x 80 mm) face covers long cracks, wide fills and edge repairs in a single press: the metal pulls the heat out of the filler in seconds and leaves it level with the surrounding surface, so there is less to trim and sand afterwards.
Use it right after filling, while the Knot Filler is still warm. Works with every Knot Filler gun and every stick color, on floors, worktops, stairs, doors and furniture. For small knots and nail holes, the 2 x 2 in Cooling Brick is the handier choice. The iron is included in the Wood Repair PRO and PRO Cordless Kits.
