Epoxy wood filler that moves with the wood

Repair Care DRY FLEX is a two-component epoxy filler for repairing rotted and damaged exterior wood: window sills and frames, doors, fascias, soffits, cladding, porch columns and stairs. Rigid fillers crack out when the timber swells and shrinks with the seasons. A cured DRY FLEX repair stays elastic and moves with the wood, and once hardened it can be planed, sawn, drilled, screwed, sanded and painted like the timber around it. Repair Care backs the system with a ten-year guarantee, subject to its application conditions.

The system: prime, fill, finish

• DRY FIX UNI primes bare, weathered or damp wood so the filler bonds. Use it before every exterior repair.
• DRY FLEX 4 2-in-1 is the everyday cartridge: dispensed with a standard caulking gun, sandable and paintable after about four hours at 68 °F.
• DRY FLEX 16 is the bulk A+B pack for large repairs and rebuilt sections, with up to two hours of working time.
• DRY FLEX Super Finish is the fine skim for pinholes, cracks and tool marks: paintable after 30 minutes at 68 °F, no primer needed.

The Duo Kit pairs primer and filler for a first repair; the Contractor Starter Pack puts the whole system in a Systainer.

EASY•Q tools for the job

The EASY•Q range covers the application: the double dosing gun for DRY FLEX 16 A+B and the dispensing gun for 2-in-1 cartridges, stainless modelling knives and the buttering knife for shaping, the mixing plate with cups and spatulas, plus nitrile gloves and cleaning wipes for working cleanly with epoxy.
